Teachers Training about boys, girls and teaching.

Do you follow the discussion about more male teachers in the classroom and the discussion about the influence you have as a teacher towards both boys and girls? Would you like to gain more insight in the learning strategies of both boys and girls? Would you like to know how to address them to get the upmost effect? We welcome you to join the teachers training on the 28th of March!

Differences in development
The development process of boys and girls (of the same age) differ. Boys often learn by example and have a shorter attention span, whereas girls pay more attention, obey, and create their own twist to the assignment.
As a teacher, you might have already observed that boys and girls behave differently. Maybe you also react differently to boys and girls yourself.

The role of the teacher
During this teachers teaching, we will focus on teaching boys and girls, respectively. We will discuss:
-    how you can act consciously according to the needs of boys and girls
-    how you can use your own preferences (and irritations)
Lauk Woltring, expert on gender and learning, will give a lecture. His website can be found at www.laukwoltring.nl
